Visiting Heinsberg - my birthplace

After a long COVID timeout I had the chance to travel again and visit my parents in Heinsberg, Germany. Heinsberg is a small town of 40,000 habitants right next to the Netherland's border where I lived till the age of 19. The closest nearby cities are Aachen, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Maastricht (NL). Due to travel restrictions and quarantine rules I was stuck in Heinsberg for most of the trip and finally decided to take some photos of my former hometown. I shot some photos in the city and around the "Lago Laprello" lake, a major recreation area in the region.

That was my quick walk-through of Heinsberg. I hope you enjoyed getting to know my birthplace.
